A graph of teenagers cell phone usage

I saw this graph here first. But I thought a couple of things were interesting: 1. that 1/4 of teenagers (12-17 yrs. of age) do not own a cell phone (do you live in a hole?!). 2. the overwhelming use of text message and social media OVER email. Why does this matter? Well, it shapes how we approach ministry and communication to collegiate students (current and future). We have been doing some research and found that we are more effective communicating to students via social media and text message rather than email. Especially when information changes on the go (location change, time change, weather, etc). So, maybe you’ll find this little study helpful – especially if you minister to students.
