Abigail would never promote herself, so here is a shameless plug for my wife. At church we had Global Missions week. Global Missions week is a time that our church can find out what our church is doing all over the world. The theme for the week was “Tell The Story.” Abigail had this idea of us holding light, and then telling it with our hands (service). Notice that we are not the light people look to, Jesus is the light.
So, she took this photo and did some editing on it and then submitted it for the week. LET ME JUST INSERT MY OPINION: it was the best there. (this is not to say that those who submitted did a bad job they were all wonderful). No, it wasn’t a contest, but I can have my own opinion – but while others were surprised by how it turned out, I was not… Abigail is definitely gifted and talented and blessed. She has an amazing eye for photography; capturing an image and helping it come to life (exhibit A above). So, I am ceased to be surprised by what she does rather blessed by it… Every time she takes photos of people and then edits them I stand back and give glory to God.
